Hey! It's been waaayyyyy too long. How are you?

Here I am on my bed, with my handsome toddler -- sleeping --, then I wonder how did I reach to this point in my life? I'm just glad to (still) be here, sometimes I revisit my past like tonight, to remind me the lessons I acquired in the school of life.

I just came back from Sydney. In a tour up to the Blue Mountains, there was a mum (50s) + son (20s) couple who are on 3 weeks holiday together (I had a chitchat with them, they are from Frankfurt, lovely people). My husband whispered to me "That will be you and Affan in the future", simply because I am doing so already and will keep doing it, go Mummy-me! Australia is Affan's 5th foreign country, not bad for a 2 year-ol' eh. Can't wait for our next adventure together!

New Boyfriend in the Making

I'm 22 weeks pregnant. And no surprise, as the title of this post reveals, yes, I'm having a baby boy. Oh my handsome new hero in my tummy hihi. The overall experience of pregnancy so far, hmm, I would say, try really hard to convince me to get pregnant for 2nd baby huhu, hate the morning (*all day) sickness and challenges that came along - I just recovered from dengue fever and eczema. However, now, I started to have an enjoyable time :) no more sickness, the baby kicks actively, and my bump is obvious but I think it's not too big coz I'm petite by nature. My husband teases me a lot about my buncit-ness belly, he said he never see me this big, and sometimes when I talk he will suddenly laugh at me because he thinks pregnant-me look amusing *sigh...jahat kannn

 

 

I pray that everything will be alright. Can't wait to see you lil' boi!

Whoahh it's hard to believe that 2013 is already half over! Hello July. Hmm so what to tell? What do you want to know? Why am I asking in riddles?

Let's just spit it out.



Just celebrated 1st wedding anniversary last month. We took a second honeymoon at Berjaya Langkawi Resort, de-stressing in such beautiful place with nothing much to do but spend time with one another :) like like like! We look forward for more and more honeymoon getaway.



After a year into the marriage:

• like many women, I put on weight (4-5 kgs) in my first year as wife haha. I'm now around 42-43 kg. Hope I don't look so chubby/fat!
• finally decided that I'm ready for baby (...I think). Hubby is very happy with this as he wants baby since beginning. I'm sorry B you had to wait this long..
• Few weeks ago, I had a very early miscarriage, in the 5th week pregnancy. The pain is more intense than in normal menstruations and it was confirmed by the decrement of hCG levels in my blood.

But I don't know what is this feeling I feel? I didn't cry at all, but I'm not happy also. Is this... a sad relief? I actually feel OK but when people kinda expect me to feel sad, well that's when I feel I'm weird for feeling OK. Err. Get what I mean? Huhu. Doc said it's best to try again after 3 menstrual cycles. Well, let's hope for better luck 2nd time.

Big Things Are Coming My Way

Woot! I'm officially a house owner! I've bought it last year and it's recently completed. Brand new 4+1 Rooms & 3 Bathrooms. My very first house, my own :) However I have yet to decide whether or not to sell it huhu. Anyone interested?

Big Day is soooo near. Marriage. Seriously? I mean, SERIOUSLY? Knowing me, even my brothers are still in denial with the fact that their big sister is getting married haha. I must admit I'm so comfortable being on my own and sitting home alone. But this one particular guy is pushing almost all the right buttons, hope he's worth it, insyaAllah. I'll distribute the wedding invitation cards soon! Weeee

Happy 27th birthday to me and I'm engaged!

We had a fight soon after the engagement, over such petty things haha. We patched up again in a funny way, as always. This will never stop making me happy. He's making me happy. People around me are making me happy.

Richer or Poorer

Oopssy I skipped a month, poor August...
I am wishing everyone a Happy Eid Mubarak!
I had a great raya this year, last minute raya shopping without spending a dime. Boom boom, ain't it great if my whole life is easy like that?

Lately I'm being a person that always thinking about money – how to save more, how to earn more, so that I can spend more. I want money lots and lots of money. Not because money makes me happy, because it doesn't. However, money buys me freedom, which does make me happy.

Yesterday me & bf took a quick tour around Setiawangsa housing area, rich big beautiful homes up on the hill. I called it The Mind Spa tour - luxurious pampering of my imagination, him as the tour guide (the cousin's houses, the home owners, which street which movie scene, which house for what movie etc.) Aaahhh~ I want a house in KL. Well, real estate is always good, as far as I'm concerned...hmm..money come to me quickly, under grace, in perfect ways.

Jaw-dropper

O-M-G! Dramatic things!
Despite all my efforts to stay healthy and love my body, I was a little under the weather for few weeks going into July. But I have to be thankful because it could be much, much, much worse. Alhamdulillah.

Now I’m back - almost! I have had a lot of office stuff keeping me away from things that I love doing. Thus I keep getting extremely tempted to make an effort that involved leaving my comfort zone. Good for me huh. But obviously, such things take time. I'm just waiting until...jeng jeng jeng

Other not-so-serious things that have made my jaw drop are:

• Adele! She is a gem. I've listened to both of her albums. In some songs, I just love how intense the chorus are and "you shower me with words made of knives" - I also love her heartbroken anger. 'Chasing Pavements' is my favourite song. 'Someone Like You' is so moving and filled with so much emotion.
• My 1st Tiffany & Co. and diamond! Something I’ve wanted for the longest time! I simply love the signature Tiffany bow on the box. Me and the boyfie headed down to KLCC last Sunday. When he bought me those without much hesitation, I looked at him, I know he's a keeper. Thank you B...
• Housing loan monthly instalment payment starts NOW! I bought my 1st house earlier this year...rmh lom siap lg tp mengade opt to start bayar awal kan, hamekkk ko Diyana! Damn, no more shopping days.

April Acceleration

Hello, I just got back from a 2-day teambuilding session at Janda Baik. Penaaaaatttttttt!

This month seems almost over. So much is happening at once. I went to see the F1 race at Sepang International Circuit. The boyfriend managed to get us Grandstand tickets - a great view, right opposite the pitlane. He's crazy about cars - I knew right from the beginning coz he gives his Benzy so much love. My car is buruk already, the god-help-me look on his face was so obvious when he first saw my car hahaha. And by our 3rd date he came out with a plan on getting me a new car. I said Noooooo! Membazir (Only for now)

F1 race is unlike anything in the world. 20 cars accelerating from 0 to 100 MPH in 3 seconds is an incredible sight to see and even more thrilling to hear! I hope Vettel can defend his victory from the previous year. Webber and Button are drool-worthy though hehe

Like the F1 race, my life in April just keeps on accelerating. Change is occurring at breakneck speeds. I already paid 10% down payment for my first house, yeayyy I'm so broke! I've met his family...twice! I'll bring him home to meet my parents too this weekend. Bonus month! Although personally it has been a bad 2010 for me, but not the company performance. I was a bit surprised, but not in a bad way. Who ever thought a year gone so wrong, would turn out so lovely in 2011. Now we are reaping the benefits of hard work =)

Many things to plan, many things to settle. And some things in life seem too ridiculous to be true sometimes. Even when something does live up to the hype, we try to convince ourselves it’s not true..eh?

Anyhow, I'll always try to be grateful in all circumstances.
In a word - Gratitude.

Take Me Away

Less than a month into our relationship, he took me to a place I'd never been + seen, a perfect island getaway, Pulau Perhentian. I said 'Yes' without hesitation, as affections are steady and the desire to spend bigger chunks of time is clearly mutual between us. It's a group holiday btw.

I managed braving the ocean to snorkel for the first time. It was scary at first but he patiently guided me to discover the wonderful treasures hidden under the ocean. He helped me overcome my fear of water. I've always had a terrible fear of being submerged completely in water (Can't swim!). Snorkeling is an amazing experience. I loved it! Oh and it’s easy to sunburn unnoticed, since the water can keep you feeling cool, even when you’re burning up. I got a tan, and he got a sunburn! Hehe

He has given me a new lease on life - this time last year I would never have had had the courage to do half the things I can do now. He is more than I could have ever dreamed of. I can feel his Halo and I pray it won't fade away...

Within this 2 weeks he'll be taking me to 3 new places. I'm a bit nervous but yet excited. If we are destined for a life of travel and fun together, I've got nothin' left to say, just take me away.

Mega Date

Conversations initiated after about a year of no contact led to the first date. It started off with a surprise belated birthday celebration with his best buddies. We really surprised him because he can't figure how did we pull it off when it was supposed to be my first time meeting all of them. Hehe terer x kami berkomplot, tau xpe. Then karaoke session for 2 hours followed by an enjoyable late dinner in a treehouse gazebo. We made a quick stop at my house, packed my things and went back to the resort. Balcony-talk with the rest till 3++ am zzZz

While some were asleep and some went out for breakfast, we both spent our morning watching a movie (our first movie!) together, altho it's just on an iPad. I had some laughs with him without any make-up on. I hope he still think I'm pretty just like in Katy Perry Teenage Dream song..

Checked out, had lunch, drove to Cherating, checked in. Hit the pool and beach in the evening and had lot lot lot of fun there. He's a good strong 5' 10" swimmer. I can't swim at all, so mcm berendam setempat je. We shared little sweet moments too ;) We started calling each other "syg" ever since *anime nosebleed* Haha ok2 x elaborate byk kang geli pulak, I'm too old for this sh...stuff! After dinner that night, we parted.

Remember the new guy and the new friends.
